Our belief is that successful preparation for the SAT rests on achieving the following goals: - Becoming familiar and comfortable with the test: the directions, the types of questions, the timing, and filling in the answer key.
- Practicing, and more practicing, by completing actual SAT exams.
- Identifying types of questions that are hard for each individual student, reviewing the appropriate concepts and practicing those types of questions.
- Learning to use new strategies for certain types of questions.

We utilize a test prep book which covers strategies
and hints for all three subjects, reading, writing and math, as well as multiple
practice tests and problem sets. Practice tests are usually
assigned to be completed between sessions. This allows us
to spend our time during the sessions on discussion and review of the specific
aspects of the tests, questions, concepts and strategies that are most relevant
to your student's specific needs. By the time our sessions
are completed, our students will be confident because they know what to expect
come test day. In years past, students and parents have given
us positive feedback and have reported significant increases in their scores.
Whatever your child's personal goals may be, we look forward to working
towards his or her success!
